Supermarket chain VP asking $8.45M in Highland Park

Stephen W. Butt and Susan P. Butt have listed for sale a four-bedroom, 5.2-bath home at 3722 Gillon Ave. in Highland Park for $8.45 million.

The Butts acquired the property in August 2002. The 9,286-square-foot home, which was built in 1916, is valued at $6.74 million. Cynthia Beaird of Allie Beth Allman and Associates is the listing agent.

Stephen Butt is senior vice president of the San Antonio-headquartered supermarket chain HEB Grocery Company and its subsidiary, Central Market. He joined the company in 1979 and has held positions of increasing responsibilities. He is a member of the board of advocates of Baylor University School of Engineering and Computer Science.

He is a graduate of Trinity University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 101 home sales in Highland Park during the past 12 months.
