Surgeon selling University Park 5BD for $2.9M

Martin L. Koonsman Jr. has listed for sale a five-bedroom, 6.2-bath home at 4337 San Carlos St. in University Park for $2.9 million.

Martin Koonsman and Catherine D. Koonsman acquired the home from Jeanne M. Olson and Larry Schmidt in June 2005. The 7,934-square-foot house was built in 2006 in the Loma Linda subdivision. It is valued at $2.48 million. Susan Baldwin and Ginger Nobles of Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty are the listing agents.

Martin Koonsman is a board certified general surgeon specializing in breast cancer at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and completed his residency at Methodist Health System.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 488 home sales in University Park during the past 12 months.
